Board Walk Bites is a husband-and-wife team founded by Ray and Cathryn, bringing a taste of Philadelphia to Metro Detroit.

 

Ray grew up in Philadelphia, where authentic cheesesteaks, Tastykakes, and classic street food were part of everyday life. After moving to Michigan, he quickly fell in love with Detroit—the people and the culture. But one thing was missing: a true Philly cheesesteak made the way he remembered growing up.

 

That’s why Ray and Cathryn created Board Walk Bites—to share the authentic flavors, traditions, and recipes that inspired him. From perfectly prepared cheesesteaks to boardwalk favorites and hot dogs, every item is made with the goal of giving Metro Detroit a genuine taste of Philadelphia.

 

Today, Board Walk Bites proudly serves the community from its food truck and stand, combining Philly roots with Detroit pride—one bite at a time.
